ABOUT THE OWNER

GET TO KNOW ME

and why I do this

I was lucky enough to be raised in a family that made travel a priority β€” not as a luxury, but as a way of staying connected to where we came from. Every trip to Italy to visit family wasn't just a vacation; it was a reminder that home can exist in more than one place, and that the people and traditions we return to shape us as much as the ones we were born into.

This also gave me an early education in what travel can actually be: a way to belong somewhere beyond your own backyard and to understand connection as a practice.

This perspective followed me. Through a degree in sociology and anthropology. Through deep, lasting friendships with people from across different cultural backgrounds. Through years of noticing how differently people move through the same place depending on how they choose to show up.

What I know now is that meaningful travel doesn't happen by accident. It requires intention β€” and honestly, a fair amount of logistical love. Somewhere along the way I realized that my instinct to over-research, over-prepare, and obsess over every detail wasn't a quirk. It was a calling.

Dolce & Drift exists for the people who want to travel the way I was taught to: fully present, deeply connected, and completely free from the stress of figuring it all out (and in the hands of a Type-A Travel Consultant).
