TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to the Dolce & Drift website. The terms and conditions displayed on this page (the “General Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to your booking, and will explain how your journey is arranged and how we work with you before, during, and after your travel. We believe in transparency and clarity - these terms are intended to protect both you and the parties involved in delivering your experience, while allowing you to travel with confidence. Please read these General Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your booking. If you have any questions, I encourage you to reach out so we can ensure you are fully informed and comfortable with the arrangements. We ask that all customers accept, acknowledge and confirm the terms and conditions laid out below. A copy of these terms and conditions will be separately emailed to you upon confirmation of your booking.
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A non-refundable planning fee is due upon engagement and prior to the commencement of any research, itinerary development, or supplier outreach. The applicable fee is determined by the scope of services selected, and as outlined in the Services Agreement. Payment of the planning fee constitutes the Client’s authorization for Dolce & Drift to begin work on the Client’s behalf. The planning fee is earned in full upon receipt and is not contingent upon the completion of any booking of travel.
Upon the Client’s approval of the final proposed itinerary and/or bookings, the Client authorizes Dolce & Drift to proceed with confirming reservations with applicable suppliers. The Client understands and agrees that supplier reservations, flight reservations, and other bookings may be held pending payment but will not be confirmed or ticketed until payment has been received in full in accordance with the terms.
Following itinerary approval, the Client must complete payment or provide required payment authorization within 72 hours. Failure to do so may result in the lapse of held reservations, changes in pricing or availability, or both. Dolce & Drift is not responsible for any loss of availability or price increases resulting from the Client's failure to remit payment within this window. If the payment window lapses, Dolce & Drift will make reasonable efforts to re-confirm the itinerary at then-current pricing and availability, though the original terms cannot be guaranteed.
For the majority of bookings, Dolce & Drift facilitates reservations through its host agency, Fora Travel. For certain bookings made through suppliers or platforms outside the Fora Travel network, payment terms may differ from those described below. In such cases, specific payment instructions will be provided to the Client at the time of booking. The Client agrees to comply with any such supplemental terms, which shall be incorporated into and governed by this Agreement. Depending on the nature of the booking, payment will be handled in one of the following ways:
(a) Direct Supplier Payment. For certain bookings, the Client's payment information is securely transmitted to the supplier, who will charge the Client directly in accordance with the supplier's own billing policies and schedule. In these instances, the financial relationship for travel costs is between the Client and the supplier. Dolce & Drift is not a party to that transaction and is not responsible for the timing, method, or terms of the supplier's charges.
(b) Net Rate Bookings — Fora Invoice. For net rate bookings, Fora Travel will issue an invoice to the Client via Stripe reflecting the gross rate, which includes the net rate, applicable commission, and any associated fees. The Fora Stripe invoice is the operative payment document for such bookings. Payment is due in accordance with the terms stated on that invoice. Dolce & Drift does not process or hold Client funds in connection with these transactions.
Payment methods are determined by the applicable payment track as described in Section 4. For Fora-invoiced bookings, payment is processed via Stripe as directed by Fora Travel. For direct supplier bookings, accepted methods are determined by the supplier. For third-party bookings, accepted methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
2. CANCELLATION
If the Client wishes to cancel any confirmed booking, written notice must be submitted to Dolce & Drift at izabella.ruscitti@fora.travel. Cancellations are not effective until acknowledged in writing by Dolce & Drift. Upon receipt of notice, Dolce & Drift will initiate the cancellation process with the applicable supplier.
All cancellations are subject to the supplier's cancellation policies, which vary by supplier, booking type, and travel date proximity. The Client assumes full responsibility for any cancellation fees, penalties, or forfeited payments imposed by the supplier. Dolce & Drift will communicate applicable supplier cancellation policies to the Client at or prior to the time of booking; it is the Client's responsibility to review those terms before authorizing a booking.
Dolce & Drift is not liable for cancellations initiated by any third-party supplier. In the event of a supplier-initiated cancellation, Dolce & Drift will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client, assist with rebooking, and facilitate any refund or credit to which the Client may be entitled under the supplier's policies.
Refund eligibility is determined solely by the applicable supplier's policies. For net rate bookings, any refund is contingent upon Fora Travel's receipt of funds from the supplier; Stripe transaction fees are non-refundable.
The planning fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation.
3. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Comprehensive and adequate travel, cancellation, curtailment and health/medical insurance is a condition of travel and all insurance arrangements and fees are your sole responsibility. You agree to arrange your own insurance with a reputable insurer, with protection for the full duration of the booking. We reserve the right to cancel your travel at any time should such a policy not be taken out by you.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights the Client may have that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
5. PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Valid passports are required for travel to most destinations. Check with the appropriate consulate or embassy for the latest visa requirements. It is your responsibility to obtain all proper documentation to travel, including but not limited to a passport, any required visas, reciprocity fees, affidavits, immunizations, vaccinations, etc. which are required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region which comprises part of your travel program. Dolce & Drift provides relevant advice on travel documents, though it makes no representations or warrantees as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that Dolce & Drift is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.
6. CHANGES
Any and all prices which comprise the whole, or a part, of your trip are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes. Dolce & Drift reserves the right to increase the price of your trip in the event of (i) increased costs from suppliers associated with your travel program, (ii) tariffs and taxes, and (iii) fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. Itineraries and arranged –sightseeing tours are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Dolce & Drift’s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.
7. LIMITS ON RESPONSIBILITY
Independent Suppliers
Dolce & Drift does not own, operate, or control any Supplier providing goods or services in connection with the Client's travel. All Suppliers are independent contractors operating under their own terms and conditions. Dolce & Drift acts solely as an agent on the Client's behalf in arranging Travel Services and does not assume responsibility for the acts, omissions, negligence, or default of any Supplier or other third party.
Scope of Responsibility
Dolce & Drift exercises reasonable care in the selection and coordination of Suppliers and travel arrangements but does not assume liability for any injury, death, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity arising in connection with the services of any Supplier or third party. Dolce & Drift is not responsible for additional expenses, losses, or damages resulting from cancellation, delay, or changes to travel services caused by weather, natural disaster, acts of God, force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes or labor disputes, overbooking or downgrading of services by a Supplier, mechanical failure, or any other cause beyond Dolce & Drift's reasonable control. All such losses are the responsibility of the Client, and it is strongly recommended that the Client maintain comprehensive travel insurance as outlined in the Travel Insurance section of this Agreement.
Itinerary Modifications
Dolce & Drift reserves the right to recommend or facilitate alternative arrangements if a Supplier cancels, becomes unavailable, or materially changes the terms of a confirmed booking. In such circumstances, Dolce & Drift will make reasonable efforts to secure comparable alternatives, though original pricing and availability cannot be guaranteed. Dolce & Drift shall have no liability beyond the facilitation of such alternatives.
Travel Advisories and Warnings
It is the Client's sole responsibility to stay informed of current travel advisories, warnings, and entry requirements for all destinations included in their itinerary. The Client is encouraged to consult the U.S. State Department's travel website at www.travel.state.gov or by phone at 1-888-407-4747 prior to and throughout the booking process. In the event the Client chooses to travel to a destination subject to an active U.S. State Department Travel Warning or Advisory, the Client assumes all risk of personal injury, death, or property damage arising from the conditions described in such advisory. Dolce & Drift reserves the right to decline to facilitate bookings to destinations subject to a Level 3 (Reconsider Travel) or Level 4 (Do Not Travel) advisory.
Traveler Representations
The Client represents that any relevant physical condition, disability, illness, or other circumstance affecting themselves or any traveler included in their booking has been or will be disclosed to Dolce & Drift prior to itinerary development. Dolce & Drift welcomes the opportunity to accommodate travelers with disabilities, mobility considerations, dietary requirements, or health-related needs and will make reasonable efforts to ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place.
The Client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding any such needs so that suitable accommodations may be researched and coordinated.
Governing Law
This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado. Any legal proceedings arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the State of Colorado.
