The consultation is a 30-minute call for us to get to know each other. We'll talk through your travel vision, what you're looking for in a trip, your timeline, and your budget. It's also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. There's no obligation — it's simply the starting point. Once you decide to move forward, a planning fee is due to begin work.

When you book on your own, you're working with the information that's publicly available. When you work with Dolce & Drift, you get access to supplier relationships, Virtuoso perks, and professional expertise that most travelers simply don't have. Beyond access, you get time back — and the confidence that every detail has been considered by someone who does this professionally. If something goes wrong, you also have an advocate in your corner rather than a customer service queue.Fora Travel also has partnerships with over 5,000 properties across a broad range of hotel categories, and with many partners on the ground in the destinations Fora Travel Advisors send our clients. As available through these close relationships we can secure additional amenities including room upgrades, spa and resort credits, and complimentary breakfast.

The planning fee is how I'm compensated for the professional time and expertise that goes into building your trip — research, supplier outreach, itinerary development, and everything in between. It reflects the value of that work independently of any booking, and it's what allows me to give every client the attention their trip deserves. The planning fee covers the full scope of planning services: destination research, itinerary development, supplier coordination, proposal preparation, and revisions through to final approval. The applicable fee is determined by the scope of your trip.

In most cases, no. For the majority of bookings, you'll either pay the supplier directly or receive an invoice through Fora Travel's secure payment system. Dolce & Drift does not hold or process client funds for travel costs unless booking through a third-party supplier. Any specifics will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Concierge services — including modifications to confirmed bookings — are part of what Dolce & Drift provides. Reach out as soon as you know a change is needed, and I'll work with the applicable supplier to accommodate it. Changes are subject to supplier availability and any applicable fees or policies.Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the cancellation policies of the applicable suppliers, which vary by booking type and timing. The planning fee is non-refundable in all circumstances. Full cancellation terms are outlined in my Terms and Conditions.

Travel insurance is a condition of booking with Dolce & Drift because it protects you. Supplier cancellations, medical emergencies, delays, and lost luggage are realities of travel — and without coverage, those costs fall entirely on you. A comprehensive policy is one of the most important parts of a well-planned trip.
-
Absolutely. Dolce & Drift is committed to building itineraries that work for every traveler. I am trained in disability awareness and accessible travel practices, and work with Fora Travel, a host agency that centers accessibility in its advisor education and supplier relationships. The earlier you share your needs with me, the better I can design a trip around what is genuinely possible for you. No need is too specific to discuss.

For most trips, three to six months is a comfortable lead time — especially for peak travel seasons, popular destinations, or complex multi-stop itineraries. That said, shorter timelines are sometimes workable. Reach out and we'll assess what's possible together.

I'm available. If something comes up during your trip — a question, a change, an unexpected hiccup — reach out and I'll do my best to assist in a timely manner. You won't be on your own once you've departed.
